    The Savannah is the embodiment of the original "farm tables" from the turn of the century. Tables where friends and families gathered daily to rest their weary bones, share the joys and sorrows of their day, and replenish their souls. They gathered to celebrate births, anniversaries or life itself. They created memories to last lifetimes and tales to pass from generation to generation.

     

    That was the inspiration.

     

    The story behind how it was made…

    To create this collectable we start with grade “A” American, Eastern Knotty Pine, one of the hardest materials in the typically soft, pine wood species. This pine was frequently used in barns constructed more than a century ago. It’s more durable than it is often given credit for and when finished properly, it becomes a very stable material. This is incredibly important because a billiard table is more than a beautiful piece of furniture; the frame must support more than 700 lbs. of weight and remain perfectly level forever.

    Each piece of “Eastern Knotty Pine” we use is hand-selected so we can avoid any knots that may be much larger than 1 ¼”in diameter. We love the knots and natural imperfections in the wood since that’s what creates the look and style of this table, but we have to worry about stability and the lifetime of your finish if the knots are much bigger than what you see today.

     

    To age and distress the wood, our artisans employ “old fashioned” woodworking techniques to create a custom finish surface designed to mimic the wear and tear endured of an age-old collectable. We’ve incorporated time-tested wood joinery methods into the cabinet corners to enhance the look of the table itself.

     

    The Savannah is an engineering feat considering the weight of the slate surface we must support. The sharp angle of the legs helps create the beautiful look of the table, but forces us to build a slate frame like no other. It’s rock-solid and enables us to bolt the leg directly through the massive frame to provide the support we need to level an heirloom pool table.

     

    The metal turnbuckles and the elemental rings and plates help effectively tie the cabinet and legs together and coordinate in design with the actual rail surface bolts to pull together this age-old furniture feel.

    The American Heritage Savannah pool table features a rustic sable finish combined with black, worn industrial hardware that makes the pool table a special addition to any room. The decorative steel turnbuckle element only adds to the unique style of this heirloom.

     

    The American Heritage Savannah pool table offers excellent playability while its’ astonishing design, exceptional tailoring and Sable finish projects panache and sophistication. The American Heritage Savannah includes 1" certified slate and Teflon-coated khaki felt for tournament-quality pool table play.     • Shipping Details:

      • White Glove delivery and installation is required for all Pool Table and Shuffleboard orders and will be added to your order during the Checkout Process. The associated charge for White Glove Delivery and Installation is $399.95

      • After your purchase of your pool table or shuffleboard table, you will receive an order acknowledgement email to the address that you provided with your order. 

      • Within 2 business days of your purchase, GreatGatherings will contact you via phone and/or email to begin the delivery and installation process!  The questions we ask will help us provide you with superior service.  Most questions revolve around how to best contact you for the delivery, your ability to accept a delivery, garage access, location of where the outdoor furniture will be placed, etc.  Promptly responding to us will help us better coordinate shipping details as well as allow us to begin align you with a professional installation service.

      • Once we have confirmed certain delivery details, your pool table or shuffleboard table will be delivered into your garage in approximately 10-14 days.

      • After receipt of your order, simply contact your provided personal professional installer to schedule an installation appointment that is convenient for you!  This generally occurs within 5-7 days of delivery.  However, this time frame varies and is dependent on your time availability and communication with the installer.

      • Upon completion of the installation, your installer will ask you to sign an acceptance form stating that you have approved the installation.  Please take special care during this process to make sure the work has been completed in a satisfactory fashion.

      • White Glove Delivery & Installation includes all major metropolitan areas.  If you live well outside a major metropolitan area, additional charges may apply for remote delivery areas.  If you have any doubt as to whether a remote delivery may apply to you, please do not hesitate to contact us for clarification and/or a quote for additional freight charges, call us at 1-703-286-9801. 

      A Few Important Notes and Reminders:

      • Please note that the delivery and installation of your order may be a two-step process in order to ensure the quality and integrity of the delivery and installation.
      • Your order is shipped directly from the factory to your home.  In most cases, a full-sized 18-wheeled semi-truck must have access to your home.  If that is a problem, or if you do not have a garage where the delivery team can store the order, just let us know in advance so we can make special arrangements.  Additional charges may apply.
      • Please be aware that there is a $300.00 fee for not being in attendance at the agreed upon delivery time.  This fee is simply the cost to transport your merchandise back to the carriers’ terminal, the cost to unload it, storage fees and the cost to re-load and re-deliver it to you.
      • Assembly and installation of your pool table or shuffleboard table is included with the White Glove Delivery. However assembly and installation of any accessories or additional furniture pieces are NOT included.  If you would like a specialized delivery service or to have additional items installed, please contact customer service and we will be happy to assist you in making those arrangements.
      • The customer is responsible for all trash associated with the delivery and installation of their pool table, I.E. Pallets, Boxes, Packing Materials, etc.
      • Any costs associated with service requests that occur after you have signed the Installation acceptance form are the sole responsibility of the customer.
    • Assembly Details:

      • This product requires professional installation, which is included with your purchase. Within 2 business days of your purchase, a representative with GreatGatherings will reach out to you to begin to coordinate the delivery and professional installation of your order
    • Warranty Details:

      • This is an American Heritage Billiards Heirloom Series Table.American Heritage Billiards warrants the components/parts of your Pool Table to be free of manufacturer defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner, as follows:
        • Table, Cabinet, Legs, Interior Bracing and Hardwood Rails and Blinds: Warranted against splitting, cracking or warping.
        • Hardwood Rails and Cushions:  Warranted against separation, dry rot, or hardening.  American Heritage Billiards, or any of its authorized service dealers, will provide you parts required to repair or, at American Heritage Billiards’ sole option, replace any of the above components covered by this warranty, found, in the sole reasonable judgment of American Heritage Billiards, to be defective in materials and/or workmanship.
        • Warranty does not include re-leveling of the table after the successful initial installation
    • Return/Refund/Cancellation Policy:

      • At GreatGatherings, we take a tremendous amount of pride in the craftsmanship and overall quality of our fine products. It is our priority to provide you with industry-leading designs and styles that help make your home an entertaining hot spot. Please inspect your product upon receipt and notify us of any damage or other issues that you come across. If within 30 days of receipt, you are unsatisfied for any reason, you may return the product for a full refund after paying a 25% restocking fee. The cost of shipping the product back to the factory is the sole responsibility of the consumer. We cannot accept returns on any custom product, close-out items or any items damaged through normal wear and tear.

    • Care and Maintenance:

      • Dust the table finish with a soft, dry cloth.
      • To protect the finish, do not apply abrasives or household cleaners.
      • Table Covers can be used to keep the pool table dust-free and protect it from other forms of accidental damage when the pool table isn’t in use. Table covers can be purchased from our website and are included in certain accessory kits
      • Periodically Brushing the felt on the pool table with our approved brushes helps properly maintain the quality of play. Brushes can be purchased from our website and are included in certain accessory kits.
      • American Heritage Billiards uses all-natural, K66 cushion rubber. Since our cushion rubber is all-natural and isn’t modified from its original state with additives, it eventually hardens slowly over time which can negatively affect the game play of the pool table. Depending on the climate and humidity variations in your area, our cushion rubber typically lasts between 10-15 years through normal use before it becomes hard, at which point, it should be replaced. When the cushion rubber becomes hard, please contact us as we’ll issue free replacement cushion rubber with proof of original purchase. Additionally, we can connect you to an installer whom can help replace the cushion rubber for you.
